The design process
I usually didn’t have to start from scratch, as I could base my designs on previous versions of the pages. A key advantage of this project was the opportunity to interview the actual users, which allowed me to gather detailed feedback and identify all the major pain points they faced. After collecting insights, I created the first version of the design and presented it for review, refining it based on feedback until the final design was approved. Throughout the process, I ensured that all designs aligned with the existing design system and brand guidelines.
Delivery
The way designs were delivered depended on the project. I prepared layouts in Illustrator and handed them off to the development team for implementation within the SharePoint environment. I also had the opportunity to build pages myself using Adobe Experience Manager, which gave me hands-on experience with the implementation process. These experiences deepened my understanding of how designs come to life in a real-world setting and strengthened my HTML and JavaScript skills.
